Do we really need 1 Gb of email space?

Postby SacMail » Fri Nov 19, 2004 10:55 pm

I am operating http://www.SacMail.com and would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of mega space email accounts.

In my view SPAM takes over and then you end up deleting thousands of emails taking up a lot of time.

Input would be appreciated.

Hi,
Really good question.
If they provide good tools (unlimites filter options, antispam tools, etc) the bigger is the better for me. :) Otherwise not necessary... Yahoo provides 100 MB per mailbox but since they limit the filters it doesnt help me much to prevent spam... I hope google has tools to overcome this :)

email fax service

Hi,

It can be difficult to assess your actual storage needs before selecting an email account plan. Often, users eventually realize that the selected plan's allotted disk space is not enough.

The best solution is to select a plan that provides abundant storage to cover needs well beyond your estimated needs. Alternatively, you can simply upgrade your account when your current plan runs out of space.

For some valuable informations go to :http://www.relaystation.co.uk

I agree with krichris.
I think most of the user have more than 1 account. So it is a great advantage to have 1G of email space.
