Original Hotmail users?

Postby Subzie » Sun Nov 06, 2005 12:55 pm

Are there any people here who were users of the original, non-Microsoft Hotmail service?

I used the email spirald(at)hotmail.com (as well as the original Geocities) and must have been amongst the first few people to get onto Hotmail.

Heady days! ;)

Cheers,
Jim

I signed up for Hotmail in March, 1997. The logo was a wire-frame, spinning globe in red. You can find the logo on the Internet somewhere. I still have my account, but I don't use it much because after all ... it's Microsoft. :-)

Hotmail is a better email service now. It has free POP3/SMTP access. Delta Sync in Windows Live Mail allows Hotmail mail be downloaded like IMAP Folders.
